About the collector
Gary Wiersema
“I’ve been cutting gem cabochons and collecting and buying high-grade cutting and specimen rough for 52 years.”
In that time, I have traveled throughout the United States and around the world collecting rocks, weavings, and art. I am self-taught in the lapidary arts and have sold my cabochons and agate specimens to hundreds of jewelers and collectors.
I also sell Navajo weavings and rugs and Huichol yarn paintings, all personally collected, often directly from the artists and weavers.
I attended the University of Colorado School of Fine Arts and have developed an eye for finding only high-quality rocks, specimens, weavings, and yarn paintings. I hope you enjoy my offerings.
